Before we set up this blog I had created a piece of software for people to create custom diets to lose weight and/or gain muscle based on the foods they choose.

I named this software OK-Cal and I’m happy to report that we as the Yummy Fitness team have made this software available for you to download for free. You can find OK-Cal by clicking here.

My family has a place up on the San Juan islands in Washington, and about a year ago Lipitor (the cholesterol medicine/drug) decided to film a commercial about their product. One day I was watching TV and was very surprised to see Dr. Jarvik on my family’s property! Mostly at the neighbors place, but they definitely did film on our property too.

I guess our place must be good for your heart

Long story short, I thought it might be fun to make a quick parody of the commercial, but that I’d be fair and stay on my side of the property line.

Too bad the commercial got cancelled and they removed it from YouTube, I wanted to show you a back to back comparison of my parody vs. the actual commercial. However, not only were they filming on our property… But Dr. Jarvik isn’t actually a practicing medical doctor, so they got in a bit of trouble… so they took down the video. Regardless, here’s my parody of the commercial (hopefully some of you have seen the original before.) And the InsiderDietSecrets.com reference was an previous website before YummyFitness came out this month. Just ignore the InsiderDietSecrets.com reference.

Keep in mind, I’m no pro actor or video editor, but ya gotta give me some credit for trying.

This video just focuses on the weight loss element of OK-Cal, but you can also use it to gain muscle as well.

Oh! And in the video you’ll get to see my dog Clover the “Super Diet Dog!” She’s pretty cool.
